The Old Mill Farm Venue located in Bedford, Va. close to Smith Mountain Lake. Our family farm combines country elegance with rolling hills, beautiful gardens, and abundant photo opportunities across over 140 acres.

Our ceremony location is framed by a breathtaking wisteria arbor, gracefully overlooking the pond-a naturally beautiful setting for saying "I do."

The reception barn is light and airy with white drapes adorning the high ceilings. A chandelier hangs in the middle of the dance floor with a rock fireplace adding a touch of rustic charm and a bit of warmth for those fall weddings.

Family Owned

The Old Mill Farm has been in our family for generations. A big round stone, which graces our entrance today, once turned to grind flour. Years later the farm became a working dairy farm. During this time many of the buildings on the property were built. A hand hewn log cabin built in the 1800s has been restored and updated to meet the needs of a growing family. Today, The Old Mill Farm is the choice of many a bride and groom to begin their journey together. The Old Mill Farm limits events to 25 per year. For this reason we book early.
